The Officers and Members of the Riverdale Heights VFD would like to congratulate Firefighter/EMT Shariff Thomas for receiving the 911 Honor Award from the Montgomery County Police Department yesterday!

Yesterday, the Montgomery County Police Department held its Quarterly Awards Ceremony earlier at the Public Safety Headquarters to recognize their personnel for their heroic actions and dedication to their jobs.

The awards ceremony featured the presentation of the following awards: Lifesaving, Commendation, Guardian Medal, Problem-Oriented Policing, the Chief’s Award, Problem-Oriented Policing Award, 911 Honor Award and Supervisor of the Year.
